Okay, that's just one-quarter of a marathon, but it's still quite an achievement for a couch potato like me. And, of course, it was tons of fun, although it was so sunny I don't think my eyes will ever be the same again :(.

I've been pointing out these links to myself for ages, so there's a lot of those!
- Weta Digital made a pretty nice video advertising New Zealand.
- A whole lot of articles from PoetryFoundation.org: Original Gangsta:
How the poems of 18th century poet Alexander Pope prefigured modern hip-hop rivalries, John Donne's
"The Sun Rising", My Poet, an absolutely adorable essay,
- YawningBread's articles on Otto Fong coming out (and how the newspapers reacted),
- Articles off the Singapore blogosphere, including Hate me, I'm Chinese national.
- A side project threatens to get totally out of control and I think, "How fun!" by Joel Spolsky.
- SinGeo, a website collating maps and other suchlike on Singapore.
- Call Center: The Movie.
- A film of the first recorded DNA-protein interaction (?! I thought I saw something like this in undergrad!)
- Delhi Belly, a blog on Delhi, written - I think? - by an expat.
He's got a blog of all his articles.
- Living in Victoria, Australia.
- This blog by a Singaporean guy who's going to Buenos Aires for his undergrad - without knowing the language! Sounds like fun!
- C'était un Rendez-vous: one scary/crazy film.
- A social project in Maharashtra.
- OMFG one painful, painful website: try not to lose anything on Singapore Taxis, if you can! The phone service is excellent, if a little hard to get anybody on the phone.
- "Bisque policy" is apparently the correct term for a policy of letting employees take a few "sick" days without actually being sick - sort of a spontaneous casual leave. It's a good idea!
- Here's a pretty poem by WH Auden.
- Asean's response to Myanmar from the MrBrownShow. Much funnies.
