Because I have waaaaay too many tabs open, here's some of the tabs on my browser right now (if I should eventually want to get back to them):

• The Lord of the Rings meets the Santa Claus story.
• A list of Bioinformatics programs in Canada. I also wanted to look up the Master of Software Systems programme at UBC.
• A list of Generation X definitions from the very definitive Generation X by Douglas Coupland. Someday, I'm going to convert this list into a 'Fortune' file.
• A link to this post by a friend of mine. I can totally relate to what she's saying, but I just don't know how to tell her that. Or what to say to a post like that.
• The always-exciting, always-geeky Real Programmers don't use Fortran, and it's sequel, The Story of Mel.
• The very cute photo of Ruby Pan which I still can't figure out it can only have 79 views when my own clearly inferior photo has 407. Odd, eh?
• Wikipedia articles on famous Chinese poets Du Fu and Li Bai. Why? I don't know! Stupid 'pedia.
• The surprisingly effective Best Practices page by Perl guru Damian Conway. I definitely need to read that more, probably at work (where I'll actually pay attention).
• Among the Chosen, a very pretty webcomic I discovered on Slashdot.
• A Slashdot article on which domain name server to use.

So it goes. It's nice being in touch with a lot of people from all over all at once (Tarun, Rivka, Amu, and Arijit, to note a few). Also was up late watching The Return of the King - yes, all six hours of the extended DVDs. Good stuff. Pity I'll be woozy all day tomorrow, though.
